Loretta is a New York-based talent, performing in musical theater, commercial dance, and classical ballet. She began her training in classical ballet at the late age of 13 with Irina Makkai Classical Ballet School in Highland Park, IL.

After several years of intense classical training she was encouraged to transfer to the Joffrey Ballet in Chicago. While at Joffrey, Loretta expanded her repertoire and began studying modern, gaga, jazz, character, modern, and contemporary dance. She received instruction from several acclaimed dancers such as Alexei Kremnev, the late Ronn Stewart, and Francisco Avina.

Before graduation, she was chosen to dance alongside the company as well as perform for Chicago’s Mayor Raum Emanuel. Loretta then spent two years at Texas Ballet Theater under the direction of Ben Stevenson, O.B.E.

She continued dancing with several companies throughout the Midwest before deciding to spend a summer with New York Dance Project. It was then that Loretta made the decision to miss her flight home, so she could remain in New York to begin self-learning theater and commercial dance.

Since making the move permanent in the fall of 2018, Loretta had the wonderful opportunity to walk in NYFW.

Soon after, she appeared in several commercial dance projects and campaigns, including MAC Cosmetics and GAP. Most recently, Loretta made her broadway debut as swing (Victoria/Tantomile/Sillabub) in the National Tour of CATS. She has had the honor of connecting with several impressive creatives and choreographers across the business, such as Andy Blankenbuller, Wynn Holmes, Leslie Blaufarb, and Shirlene Quigley. Loretta is looking forward to pursuing more musical theater, commercial dance, and acting— all while continuing to keep her ballet roots. When she’s not dancing Loretta is a published model as well as a fitness trainer for the Tracy Anderson Method. She enjoys traveling to see family and friends in California and Chicago, cycling, networking, exploring new restaurants, and finding the best spots in the city for ice cream.
